Frontier Missions Team – Mission Statement
The AEFC Frontier Missions Team was formed because we serve a Missionary God who made missions the central focus in both the Old and New Testaments (Gen. 12:1-3; Gal.3:16), so that we want to share His heart and purposes (John. 3:16).
We believe the Holy Spirit came with the purpose of enabling us to be Christ’s witnesses (men, women, boys and girls) (Acts 1:8), in increasing spheres of geographical responsibility, not only for our own church, but in cooperation and networking with other people, organizations, churches, and mission agencies. This kind of networking testifies to Christ’s unifying power of love, so that the world sees the compelling real unity even though very diverse. We testify to this by having a church mission statement that reflects three Biblical truths: being in relationship with Christ; being in relationship with one another; and bringing others into a redemptive relationship with Jesus Christ. (II Cor. 5:18-20)
This Team’s thrust will be to all peoples or ethnic groups so they too will worship and serve the Father because of the Son through the “Spirit and in Truth” for all eternity (Rev.5:,10; 7:9,10), uniting us all in to one body.
