P and C are the security names for a couple who work with our selected people group, the “BEANs.”
In September of 2015 they moved to Aswan in the south of Egypt, where the BEANs are located. They worked among different medical projects, teaching English, and having house visits in different villages. P and C continued there for 5 years.
After Covid, they moved to Cairo, where their role changed a bit. They helped in teaching about the majority and how to reach them, teaching about DMM, and school staffing for a short term. They are able to keep in touch with some of the students across the ME.
More recently they have been involved in research about UPGs in-country, and have led different ORs in UPG areas.
Ongoing focus and prayer requests:
- To see DMM happening among the BEANS.
- C. to finish the Montessori study this year, to use as an access in unreached areas.
- To focus more to see youth mobilized for the mission and especially to UPGs in our country.
- To take more ORs to UPG areas.
- To collect more info in new areas & cities where UPGs live, and find access to them.
- To place, equip, and empower youth & new workers in UPG areas, and to oversee them.
- To pioneer work with the BEANs in our city.
- To search for Bidhaawyeet & Tigre language speakers in order to help with BT for their languages.
